VoIP RTA

 

The Racal VoIP Rugged Terminal Adapter is the newest addition to the Racal product range and unique in the military market.

 

The VoIP RTA converts the analogue signals from an analogue telephone on one side to an IP data packet stream that can be transmitted on an IP network on the other. This also works in reverse. 

 

The Racal VoIP RTA provides a range of basic functionality which supports all deployed military analogue phones and IP networks. This capability is currently being provided in military operations by using standard COTS telephones.
